The bottom end of the box above is stamped with “SALT WATER SERIES” in red, and “SAIL SHARK” and “1 DOZEN ASST.” in black.  The top front of the box is also stamped with “SALT WATER SERIES” in red.  Salt water Sail Sharks were numbered based on multiples of 5 + 1 (i.e., SW-6, SW-11, SW-16, SW-21, etc.)

 

 

Not all of the Demon Lure Company inventory went north when Lazy Ike bought the company.  A large pickle jar full of salt water Sail Sharks was found in Castroville, Texas, circa 2012-13.
